OUR HIRING PROCESS

Although our hiring process can sometimes vary depending on the type of role you're interviewing for, we generally follow the below steps.

Apply

Find a role that peaks your interest, then submit an application that shows us why you’d be the best person. Tell us about your relevant skills and what excites you about Dutch Bros!

Screen

If your application makes it to the next step, our recruiters will contact you for a quick chat. This is your chance to learn more about the role and for us to learn more about you.

*This step is for HQ roles.

Interview

This is your time to shine! Meet with the crew and dive deeper into your skills, experiences, and passions. These are conversational and a chance for us to see if you’d be a match for the role and a culture add to Dutch Bros.

Decision 

If you're our person, we’ll send an offer your way! Once you accept, we’ll guide you through the onboarding process so you can hit the ground running. If not, we’ll keep you in the loop for future opportunities.

HELPING YOU PREPARE

Bring Your Skills, Not Just a Resume

For most roles, we recommend keeping your resume handy and being ready to chat about your experience, skills, and what makes you a great fit for Dutch Bros. But here’s the deal—your resume isn’t everything! We’re looking for people who are ready to learn, grow, and bring positive energy to the organization.

Applying for a Broista position? No resume needed! Just bring your passion and a willingness to learn—we’ll teach you the rest.

Show Your Impact

Teamwork is key, but we also want to hear about your contributions. When discussing your experience, focus on the specific role you played in a project, the actions you took, and the results you achieved.

Share examples that are relevant to the role. Whenever possible, use data to showcase the impact you made—numbers, results, and tangible outcomes help tell your story.

Stay Curious & Ask Questions

Interviews aren’t just for us to learn about you—they’re also your chance to learn about Dutch Bros, the role, and the crew you’d be joining. We want you to walk away with a clear understanding of what to expect.

Come prepared with questions! If something isn’t fully answered during the interview, don’t hesitate to ask for more details. This is your opportunity to make sure the role is the right fit for you.

Get Interview Ready

In-Person Interviews
Most of our interviews happen in person since we are a people-first company! When you meet us, expect a positive and welcoming environment—just like our culture. We’re all about showing up as yourself, business casual is fine! Wear something you feel comfortable in while still putting your best foot forward.

Video Interview
Find a quiet, well-lit space. Check your audio before joining, and get comfortable with being on camera. But hey, we get it—life happens! If your kids or pets make a surprise appearance, no worries and of course we'll say hi!
