Learn what it takes to work in a coffee roasting facility. Gain the skills to operate some of the world’s leading coffee roasting equipment, package our beloved beans with care, get an introduction to sensory & quality through tasting experiences, and maybe even operate a forklift!

No experience is required! You will learn the skills needed on the job and there will be milestones for showcasing skills and abilities along the way.

We believe in our people and want to give our employees the opportunity to explore different roles and gain new skills. However, it is not a requirement to start in our shops for warehouse specific roles!

We have in-house training and a Roaster Education Program developed by our leadership teams. Additionally, there are opportunities to obtain education and training through the National and Speciality Coffee Association.

Yes, full-time Roasting & Packaging Specialists will qualify for DB’s benefit package.

Due to the nature of production and hours required for the shipping & receiving of goods, the schedule of the Roasting Facility is not as flexible as other roles at Dutch Bros. However, with thoughtful planning by crew leaders, there are opportunities for team lunches, celebrations, and time off.
